OUR MISSION
Born from Africa, crafted
in India, and designed with love in Portugal, KLEED creates sustainable luxury resortwear and loungewear made slowly, thoughtfully, and with purpose. Each kimono, kaftan, dress, robe, pyjama, and set is handcrafted by skilled artisans using natural fabrics, ancient techniques, and a deep respect for tradition. We are not a fast fashion brand. We produce in small quantities, intentionally, because every piece takes time to make and is designed to be worn, loved, and kept for years. Our artisans are not simply suppliers — they are partners.
Their skill, heritage, and time are woven into every KLEED piece. Our mission is also to give back to the natural world that inspires us.
From tree planting, CO2 offsetting, and plastic rescue to our ongoing support
for rhino conservation, giving back is not a campaign. It is built into who we
are. KLEED exists for women who care, women who choose beauty with meaning, effortless elegance, and clothing that carries a story worth wearing.

As a fast-growing, small company with outsize ambitions, we aim to be 100% sustainable. But we also know we must move forward, step by step. And thus, over the years, we have transformed almost every aspect of our business.

We are humbled by the talented artisans we work with and their achingly beautiful, hand-crafted creations. KLEED contributes to their economies and lives and pays fair wages, with no child labour involved in our products’ manufacturing.

Our commitment is to empower all the artisans we work with. They are part of our KLEED family. Without them, KLEED wouldn’t exist. We therefore want their living and working conditions to be comfortable and fair. We want all people involved in our business to be happy and to positively contribute to a thriving Planet. This also applies to our clients. We want them to feel good about buying conscious and eco-friendly garments, and for them to know that they are contributing to a different way of doing fashion. One that cares for People, Planet and Wildlife.
Our mission is simple: we partner with suppliers who each do their part to create a sustainable future, we pay fair wages to our artisans and we ban any child labour in the manufacturing of our products. Fashion should never be at the cost of human or animal welfare or cause harm to the Planet.
