Regular price €150.00The Mombasa Blue Naya kimono is a remake of the popular Mombasa blue kimono, a best selling piece for kleed for the last years. This kimono introduces the timeless pleasure of a pure and satisfyingly geometrical pattern in bright indigo blue, embellished by a veritable feast of contrasting pure silk embroidery - down the front and around the back of the kimono, featuring bold diamonds in flamingo pink and white.
Handwoven by our community of artisans this bright and happy patterned kimono is a slow fashion garment, supporting ancient weaving techniques, and small communities of artists, who inherited their looms from their ancestors and practise their expertise passed through generations. This, makes this piece so unique.
Kleed’s commitment to a greener Planet extends beyond our garments. We recycle every piece of cotton surplus from production into upcycled cotton paper, used for our unique newspaper, cards, and stationery. This sustainable approach allows us to minimize waste while adding value to each step of our process.
